Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Our Returns Promise We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains when you can return an item and what happens after you request a return.
2. Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law) Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If your item is faulty, not as described, or doesn't do what it's supposed to do, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, such as a repair, replacement, or refund (depending on the circumstances).
Please note: many of our fabrics are handmade or handwoven and feature natural variations in weave, slubs and texture. These variations are part of the character of the cloth and are not considered faults.
3. Change Of Mind Returns If you change your mind, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided that:
- the item is unused and in original condition,
- the item is returned with original packaging, tags and accessories (where relevant), and
- you provide proof of purchase.
For change-of-mind returns, you can choose a refund, store credit, or exchange.
4. Items Not Eligible For Change Of Mind Returns We do not accept change-of-mind returns for:
- cut fabric (because it is cut to your specified length),
- swatches,
- sale or clearance items (unless required by the ACL), and
- gift cards.
We recommend ordering swatches before purchasing larger lengths. Swatches are limited to 6 per customer per order.
5. Return Shipping If you are returning an item due to a fault or an issue covered by the Australian Consumer Law, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs where required under the ACL.
If you are returning an item due to change of mind, you are responsible for return shipping costs unless we state otherwise.
6. How To Request A Return To request a return, please contact us via the form at littleripperfabrics.com/pages/contact with:
- your order number,
- the item(s) you want to return, and
- the reason for your return (and photos if the item is faulty or damaged).
7. Processing Times Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
